Default Vintage Frog parts availability

I have a chance to pick up my grandpas Frog. I remember playing with it as a child and have a lot of good memories. The car hasn't been run in almost 30 years, so I am not sure if the car is operational.

Is there any sources or companies making aftermarket parts to get grandpas car up and operational? Is there a option to go brushless and Lipo?

With the re-release, itís easy to find parts. You should consider picking up the rear shaft and cup set from the re-release. Itís a direct replacement for the original hex set which was a known weakspot, especially if you want to go brushless. You can also get the MIP ball diff

Also, look into the rear adopters so you can run hex wheels which gives you more options. Easy to find on eBay. You can also pick up adaptors to use hexes up front.

brushless will drop right in , but I wouldnít recommend a real quick motor. Also, the lcg lipos should slide right into the battery compartment.

good luck with it.
