I've been building a special Bullet Racing Products aftermarket version. It was the first to use a long wheelbase and had trailing arms. The wheelbase was extended by 1" to match the Schumacher Cat XLS. It's crazy how short the wheelbase of Kyosho cars were back then. The Ultima had a very short wheelbase too.

This looks awesome, my first true competition car was the Optima Mid and I absolutely loved it! This is a Beautiful example! I’m on the hunt to rebuild what’s left of mine as we speak. |
