2018 re-release guesses
I hope I did this correctly. What does everyone think will be next for the re-releases? Not what you want, what you think will be next. My guess from Tamiya will be the Mudblaster (like soon, it just makes sense) and from Kyosho will be the Turbo Optima. (I'm guessing April-May)

I would think the MTs of all types will make a come back. However many of them have had a re release or three. I for see more new chassis with old names stuck to them then anything else. I can also can see the arena trucks coming back. The Mickey Thompson type. HPI may do a re-vamp of there Super RS4 with the larger scale being so hot right now. That is if they can pull themselves out of the cash trouble there in.
AEs release of the classic bodied 28s maybe a hint at there coming plans. There are quite big in the Vintage races. And I think the only OEM to put there hat in that ring. In order to keep up if AE does a 2nd re release of the RC10's, Horizon may put out some of the classic Losi cars. The JRs would be my guess. I would think the Japanese would led with number of kits that would end up being available if a re release craze hit. Traxxas may even get in on the game and put out a few Cats or Sledge Hammers. I would think any of the race buggies or trucks would be on new platforms like they do with the 4-TEC 2.0 last year. Having them back in racing would be like a re release of it's own. A bit like when Dodge came back to NASCAR. The "Big three" back on the track together would be great to see old or new.
But, I don't have a Chrystal ball or super powers to tell me what will happen in the next 12 coming down the line. Only the manufactures have that power.

Probably Kyosho at some point will release an Ultima. (unless I missed it?)
Tamiya, probably whatever anniversary is coming due. Who knows without looking at originals.
AE, doubt it. A lot of us want the RC10T. With the Rc10 classic, Worlds Car release, only the RC10T is iconic and was revolutionary when released.
Unless Schumacher releases say the 2wd Cat, I doubt it. I thought it was cool they released the car Masami won with.
HPI, they cant support what they have released, let alone anything 'vintage'. Pipe dream.
Losi, doesn't seem interested in vintage anything. Has a great following, but doubt it.
Personally, Id like to see RC10T, even modernized like the Worlds car. Yokomo C4/870C/YZ10 or later. Losi Jrx2, JRxT, Jrx pro.

The TA02 is alive and well in the new Porsche's. I think the top force also uses the same drive train.

What I hope is re-released and would/will definitely buy:
Kyosho - Ultima and the Fantom: with a belt drive option - can you imagine 4w 1/12th with today's power systems?!
AE - RC10T: with those fabulous narrow front tires
Losi - JRX2 and JRX Pro SE: with the persistence of rere's, have to wonder why Horizon hasn't jumped on the bandwagon. do they own the licensing to the pre-acquisition models(?).
Victor - Super Hi-IQ: fully updated for today's battery chemistries, BL motor analyzer and a large color screen - but keeping the awesome keypad.
