Thx Nexxus for the feedback, was in a local hobby shop talking about the skyrc toro TS50 (looks a lot like the sportsman) he was telling it would be to slow so he advised a 120 A version.
This got me worried a little bit, also i have a hobby wing V10 10,5 T motor in good shape could the sportsman handle it?
Do you run it with trackstar firmware or update to skyrc??
thx for the feedback

Hi guys is this the same as the skyrc ts50? Or is there any advantage to one over the other? Thanks.

99.9% of companies have a policy that reads something like this:" warranty void if opened. " So I'm not surprised that Hobbyking is the same way with this esc. They cost $26. Just buy 2 more.

Well had one blow up on me, and Hobbyking are saying as I opened the case to show that it blew, they are not honoring warranty based solely on that.
Pretty piss poor.

We don't reject warranty claims for soldered connections... unless they're the wrong polarity or something like that.

I've got one of these in my stock class buggy. It works well, but sometimes reverse will not engage. I've tried recalibrating to the TX, and increasing throttle deadband. Any other ideas?
On another note - the brakes are amazing! Had to dial them back to around 75% for off-road, otherwise I got nose dives if I tapped the brakes after a jump.
On another-other note (and topic), has the 25.5T motor been submitted for ROAR approval?
