There are quit a few. Depends on your exact area and far you are willing to travel. Also what class/vehicle you are racing. On or off road.
OCRC in Hunington Beach, WCRC in La Mirada, Barona 1/8th wonder down by San Diego, ARC in Temecula, Hemet Comp. Raceway in Hemet, Revelation in Montclair, Thunder Alley in Beaumont. There some others more North also.

No official club racing going on though, just free races to test the system on Wednesday's. Made for short course.

cause the staff acts like they are too cool to help or be anything nice to you. And the other rc drivers are not much nicer. They all seem to stick to there own little crews. Personally, west coast rc is the best indoor track in so cal. I havent even wanted to look for another track. They change it up every six weeks or so, which is great, keeps it exciting. Also the staff is awesome, so is the owner, great guy. and everyone that comes to race is pretty nice too.

North of LA in Valencia is Hot Rod Hobbies. Outdoor track for 8th & 10th scales. Racing (wet track) every Tuesday and Friday at 6:00 and Sat at 4:00. Tuesday & Friday pulls around 70 to 90 entries. Sat around 70.

You would think there would be an indoor on-road track in the South Bay/ Orange county area of Southern Ca. Probably 5 million people here, but tracks keep going out of business. I guess heavy regulation, heavy business tax and income tax, liabilities and insurance liabilities on the Left Coast has killed it here
