My son and myself are making our way from Novice into the 1/10 Buggy class and are looking for opportunities to to participate in club races in southern California.

A few weeks back we had a blast at SDRC in San Diego, and we are now planning a another trip to SoCal and looking for other tracks to try.

Any advice on family friendly tracks appreciated!

Well there is the track in Chula Vista? It is about 30 minutes farther south.

I too had a toal blast at SDRC. It was my first time ever at a RC track. We had a great time. Spent more time with the car upside down, but we had fun.

Where are you located? Some of my favorites are

SCVRC in Santa Clarita. Todd and Shane and Matt are the some of the nicest guys. Great facility with a great on site hobby shop, Clay Off Road (brand new design last week!) with AMB timing and tons of pit space. Air conditioning and WIFI. Just 30-40 mins north of the San Fernando Valley.

OCRC is an amazing facility and track is probably one of the best on the west coast. You will probably find some of the best drivers here as well. Big race days with lots of turnout. This weekend is the Mike Reedy Race though so it will be packed for that event….
