Default Moving to PHX soon

Well, after feeling all the love for 1/5 scale at Chula Vista Race Club, and enjoying the efforts of a single track for 1/10, 1/8, and 1/5. (hey, everyone working on one track instead of 3 different tracks creating 1/3 the amount of people on any given track). I'm discovering that out in PHX, they say the 1/5 scale guys just want to bash in the desert. (I can't believe that, but its what is said).

I know Fear Farm has a 1/5 but it looks like no one really cares about it, but for that sake, it looks like the 1/10 doesn't get much love as well. Anyways, I also understand up until recently, 1/5 scale was some chinese offbrand or HPI, but now that MCD and Losi and soon AE, I have to hope that interest picks up. Its not like 1/8 nitro is so cheap that 16-18 year old kids can afford them, so I dont think its cost, I just think its interest.

Anyone know of any other places in Az where a 1/5 scale following exists? Just curious, thought I would ask.

Again, its too bad they don't combine onto the one track, thats 1/3 the announcers, 1/3 the organization, and if everyone were dedicated to working on 1 track, the repairs would come fast, and the track would still stay in good shape no matter what scale ran on it. Sigh, one can dream.. ha ha ha ha

Thanks in advance,
