Default Hobby Central (SD Area)

Why not start a thread for Hobby Central races? Did anyone go to the race last Sunday (8/22); I heard it didn't happen? Anyways, this thread might help get more people out for races. The track/shop is in Poway and their website is www.hobby101.com
They race pretty much anything you can race on a parking lot (1/10, nitro, micro, F1, trucks)

HOLLA!

Racing did happen. Turn out was pretty low but I heard Hobby Town also ran a race for some reason. You're right though. This is a nice little track and has some pretty good grip. They're working on getting money together for a transponder system. I try and make it there as often as I can to stay local.

I just called Hobby town. I thought they ran the last Sunday of the month. HC actually were the ones who ran on the wrong day- according to their schedule. Did you race in San Marcos O?

Off road? You'll need that florecent orange at night @ family. Lighting isn't the best. I'm heading back out there this Friday for some dirt again. I took a little time off from there. Mod truck is the class to run right now. Stock buggy is pretty full too, but who wants to run a stock motor?

I raced Hobbytown Sunday and it was fun, but only three heats. Hobby Central changed there date so they clashed and I think that caused a split of people.

As far as I know they're racing. My want to give them a call to make sure.

Well, that was a pretty low turn-out, but racing was still fun.
Luckily, I was able to finish a race by the main (and won).
jkerr0043- did you race mod? I just remember seeing a body like the one in your avatar.

Yes I did. I was the one in the black Fukuyama shirt and that was my car you saw in the mod class.
