Traction Raceway & Hobbies is pleased to bring you Nevada's largest indoor offroad track. 6,750 square feet of offroad goodness featuring 100% Nevada clay. AMB timing, private pits with membership, full handicap access including ramp, restrooms, and handicap only pit tables, arcade, RC Scoring Pro timing software, and more are just part of the features at Traction.




Traction caters to 1/10th electric vehicles and our hobby shop is fully stocked with all the popular brands including: Team Associated, Losi, Kyosho, etc. Because we are located in Reno,most parts currently not in stock can be ordered and received same day or next day, with the exception of Horizon Hobby brands. Our prices are competitive with most online retailers and any purchase of a kit or RTR gets you a month of free practice. A purchase of $50 or more and you get free practice that day.



Traction Raceway & Hobbies is open 7 days a week so you can get your hobby fix everyday. Our hours are Monday through Saturday 12pm to 8pm and Sunday 10am to 6pm. We are located in Reno, Nevada less than 10 minutes north of downtown.



Our race schedule is Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday. Sunday doors open at 10am with signups by 11:30am and racing beginning a 12pm. Wednesday and Friday we open at noon with signups by 6:30pm and racing beginning at 7pm.




We are striving to bring the best R/C experience in racing and are under constant improvements. Traction Raceway has been the best kept secret in Reno until now. We feel our 13,000+sqft facility is finally ready for the masses but we aren't stopping there. Our future plans include: live video feeds from our website and LiveRC, interactive webcams, product reviews, how-to videos, our own line of Traction brand products, and parts ordering via internet and phone. Traction Raceway & Hobbies is looking to expand
our facility not only in Reno but locations in other cites in the future.
