Jerry's R/C Raceway Ithaca NY 14850
 

Hey all,

Wanted to start a new thread for 2012 racing season up at Jerry's R/C Raceway in Ithaca NY.


We are planning on having a great season with normal weekend club racing and at least two big race events. The first One Day big cash/prize race will be July 29th. We will have this up on RCsignup.com and a lot more details soon. Club racing will start after the LCRC Warm up race which would be the first weekend in May. We have a website that you can view some pictures of the current layout. The layout will be changing this season but you can get an idea of the size. The track will be much bigger this year and technical.

We would love to get some of you RC Tech guys in the area to come on down and enjoy our track.

Forgot to mention. This is a 1/8th scale buggy/truggy track but we also run short course.

this weather is teasing me , going to order a new rc8t champ edition for this year old rtr one is beat up lol. Think i should get another b5 or try out the b2?i havnt started my b5 in awhile and didnt really store it right .

B2 is no joke. It's a great little motor.

Hope so. A little gem in upstate NY. Can't wait for this years layout to be done. Need some warmer weather soon!!

Well, New Layout is done. Track is up and running weather permiting. Come on out guys. Wednesday and Sunday for now is practice days.

Will have a panoramic picture up soon of the new layout.

Good practice today. Track layout is sick. :D

WHAT A GREAT TRACK!!! I want to thank Jerry for letting me talk your ear off. I am looking to bring the truck up there very soon, The only question is... Where do I get a 1/8 scale buggy? But I think you guys may enjoy my sct electric 4x4 once it is done. THANKS AGAIN GUYS!!!

Well good news bad news, just picked up a 1/8 scale buggy, bad news dont know nothing about nitros, should be fun

WOO-HOO I can use all the help I can get, I got a ofna buggy with a 28 jammin engine with a jp-3 racing pipe, Is it good or bad? Have no idea. I dont think I will be in town on Sunday but If I am I will come up. Thank you JARACING.

IT will get you going 28 motor is for a truggy. .21works for buggy but it will get you going for now

Maybe I have the info wrong, But I drive a Charcoal grey or Black chevy Tahoe. Come over and say hello.

First thing you would want to do is get with Jerry and have him set you up with some tires. Looks like on road tires in the front. He has a ton of tires to sell in the hobby shop.

Heres a video of the new layout. There are some changes already since this video but it's a general idea of the new layout. Don't mind the crashes. This was the first time out on the new layout so the driver (ME) crashes a bit.. LOL

Special Cash Race for the month of June

June 30th Dash for cash for all classes. will payback 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in all classes.

Practice will start at 9:00 am, driver meeting at 12:00 Racing to start right after.

Heats 6 minutes, Mains for Nitro 30 minutes. If enough electric show up we can run double A mains. 10 minutes each.

Come out and enjoy a great track and earn some dough.

Hey are you guys running e truggy?

None of us run electric truggy currently.

I do believe there will be some there on the 30th for our cash race.

Are the short course trucks fast enough to get over the big jumps? Track looks wicked, I gotta try to make it up there someday. To bad you guys run the same days as outback.

Short Course with Brushless will clear anything on that track.

Dont forget to come on out on Saturday the 30th for a awesome day of 1/8th scale and short course racing.
