Default Buddyboys R/C Racing - South New Berlin, NY

They have an indoor track setup in the gym at the old south new berlin school. it is taken down every week after the races. It's 36'x55' and features a road course, oval and a Short course track! Racing most Sundays thru May, 2011. Check the website for calendar.

Signup by 11 am. Racing WILL BEGIN AT NOON! Any latecomers will join in next race of their class.

There is an outdoor clay oval behind the Buddyboys shop on rt 23 in South New Berlin that is used in the summer.

Here are the classes currently run. Some depend on turnout, there's a 3 car minimum to run a class.

1/18 mini slider
1/18 mini late model
1/18 mini EDM (stock MLM w/ Kipps Mini EDM body)
Pan Car
RJ Speed Pan car
1/10 stadium trucks (for the kids)
vintage trans am
2wd short course (stock; tire changes allowed, but must run either the 12 turn brushed, or a 17.5 turn Novak brushless)

Not sure what pan cars they were running.. the indoor track is currently closed until next fall/winter. Right now they are running outdoor clay oval, and outdoor dirt offroad. You read that right. They have 2 tracks!

Default Buddy Boys Short Course Racing Sunday 8/7/2011

Just a quick note that Buddy Boys is running on the short course track this Sunday 8/7/2011. It's a great time everyone, if you live local to South New Berlin, NY come by and check it out. Track is open at 10:30 or so and heats start at 12pm sharp. Food and drinks on site as well as AC power for your chargers. Plenty of parking and space for pop-up canopies. They also provide a covered area w/ pit tables too.

Thumbs up Buddy Boys RC Season opener (non-points) tomorrow-Sunday Oct 30!!

Buddy Boys RC indoor season opener (non-points) is tomorrow, Sunday 10/30/2011. Doors open at 10:00am, sign ups start at 11am and heats start at 12pm sharp! Its a great time for everyone.

Track Info

The indoor carpet track is 36′ x 55′ in dimension. Features a 125 ft run-lane Oval. It’s located at the old South New Berlin School at 3392 State Route 8. It features an Oval and Short course track in one location! Come on down during our races and check it out! We will be starting in November going until April!

All races will have signups by 11 AM. First Race will start at Noon SHARP

We will be running oval and off road classes.

Oval Classes:
1/18 Stock Mini EDM (Losi Mini Late Model with Easter Dirt Modified body)
1/18 Stock Mini Vintage (Losi Mini with McAllister Vintage body)
1/18 Mini Open (Any Losi 2wd mini – run what you brung electronics & mods)
1/10 Losi Slider
17.5 Sportsman Truck (following T.O.U.R. Rules)

Off-Road Classes:
2wd Short Course Truck
2wd Sportsman (Kid’s Stadium & Intermediate 2wd Short Course)

General Track Info:

We serve food and drink trackside.
Track does NOT have on-site hobby shop (but it’s right down the road). If you need something we often make runs to the shop for people throughout the day. See race management if you need something.
Plenty of A/C outlets, but bringing an extension cord and a power strip is recommended.
Tables and chairs provided. More chairs than tables though, so if you want to setup your own table, you’re more than welcome.
We use I-Lap Transponders and scoring system. AMB/MyLaps transponders are not compatible. Personals are allowed and preferred but we do have House Transponders that can be borrowed but must be returned after every race.
