Closest track to Maryland???
 

anyone know of any nitro on-road tracks in MD , or the closest one near md?

i dont even know where that is:D

Only permanent indoor or outdoor facility I know of is Doug's Hobbies in Waldorf, MD.

This is also the one I know of. If you need more info try the Maryland thread in the Where to Race area as alot of those guys race nitro.

try trifecta hobbies in princefrederick md they have indoor catpet and the largest dirt track in the mid atlantic aeria they race 1/12 sedan & pancars on sunday they also race 1/18 sedan and minit's indoor til spring when the dirt track reopens

New rc'er looking for a nitro on road track somewhere around the washington dc metro area. would really like to find something where i can learn how to race this thing. getting tired of the ole' parking lots and would like to join others in racing. also need to pick up some great pointers on how to work and better control the car. thanks for the help.

HobbyTown in Glen Burnie ( Anne Arundel county) runs on-road races outdoors for nitro. I think they will start it back up in April/May. Give them a call to verify ( 410-590-4950). As for learning about the car, there is always someone there that is friendly and willing to give you some help.
