ok, just came back from the track. I need to get another roll off Pipe, Install the wall for turn one and the banked 180, clean up some faces of the jumps. and Finish spiking down and connecting the rest of the pipe. But the track is usable now.

Bring your cars out and try it out.

I hope this weekend the Stand crew finish up there work, My son will be there tomorrow mowing and weed eating to clean up and I will be there early also on rock patrol.

here is the pic from this morning, but the pic on the right is from two days ago in this photo. I guess i didn't take the last one..... oh that's right i got a calllllll.

Thanks Guys. this track is super fast and very easy for the beginners and pretty technical to be fast. so i hope it is a great combo.

not that it is completely accurate

In design the track was i believe 705 ft long. I rolled the run line and it seems to be right at 697ft. So i am not sure how we stuck so close to the 705.

I run when it was bumpy and got like 40 secs. This morning with only a stopwatch i ran a 31 sec. I believe people will be in the 28 second range. I use that on all the track i have drive lately even motorama i have averaged about 3 seconds of the TQ main guys on the larger tracks

Shawn,
Could you get a couple of spur gears for Ty's Durango Part# TDR310198
While your ordering mine? Nice to have on stock if needed, we currently have 2, so no hurry (famous last words).

Tomorrow i'll get my butt going around 8-8:30am to get to track, I went out & pulled those 2 front pieces off nitro stand & cut them down @ home. Will be ready to be put back on. Have to leave mid afternoon tho to wash down lady's house & deck.
Eric

Tyler & Kerry want to come out & run alittle Hope I can get them going around 10am, then Ty & I have to get that house Powerwashed. Yesterday mothernature did that, not as nice as when I'm done with it.

Thanks again for stopping out & giving us a hand, greatly appreciated!!!

Stand is mostly done, need plywood for new section, but have railing up, Handicap spot needs flooring, but having issues with tying in stringers for steps ?

Nitro stand needs alittle more, but with downpour yesterday it made it unworkable.

Shawn, I'll get with you on some of the issues, nothing big.

Eric the track is still to wet, As for the stringers, All we need to do is add a spacer at the bottom or cut the top off the 2 or 3 inches one step can be shorter.

there will need a landing tied in and the 4 more posts put in for the stairs.

I have got a fast easy solution for the walls around the track. I will try to get it done monday hopefully.

Maybe we can get some people out atleast to get some input next saturday.....

Default Saturday May 12th

Looking for some more volunteers for construction help. Would really like to wrap alot of bigger projects up + my availability on Sat. might be just limited from morning to early afternoon. Last Sat. rain stopped our progress for around an hour, then mud collecting on boots added around another couple of Lbs. per boot + humidity kicked in. Tyler & I will be there around 8/8:30am

Construction List:
Nitro stand: Attach walkway, plywood, & entry/exit ramps.
Drivers stand: plywood, extra step.
Handicap portion: Flooring, railing, posts for stability, entry ramp
Stairs: attach to drivers stand & nitro walkway
Track: Stake piping, shape jumps, corners, guide walls, broom surface.

Tools:
Another chop or circular saw would help, *Cordless drill* (w/phillips screw head bit), tape measure, & pencils (Jim keeps losing his ) Electricity avail.

Thanks
Eric
