What time do you all think the Classic will wrap up at? Past 7PM or so?

Chris- Quick question about practice. Will saturday practice only be for people who didn't show up for practice on friday? Or is it going to be a complete MOB in there to get an hour of practice in the morning???? I think this would be a good thing to implement.

chris mckinney 12-13-2010 05:28 PM

I honestly don't have the man power to police who was there on Fri to enforce practice.
I will have the blue clip's in effect and will separate 1/10 buggys, from short course, from 1/8 buggys.
So Sat practice will be very limited.
I expect a good crowd - so figure close to 3 hours a round with resort time and no real breaks - with the longer mains I estimate close to 9 or 10 to be done.
But I am just guessing at this point.
I can't wait till it gets here!
Should be a great event.

I understand, sounds good Ill see you bright and early saturday morning. Should be a huge turnout.

Anything low profile. Wishbones, Suburbs, Bar Codes, Holeshots or anything else that similiar in design. Some even run bowties as well as the I Beams from HPI.

Holy crap I missed 4x4 slash
I will run them
making more plaques now - uuuhg

chris mckinney 12-14-2010 05:05 PM

I think I will just call it Mod Short course - I don't think there will be enough to separate them.
Do you guys think the same thing?

PsycoB4 12-14-2010 05:28 PM

Chris I would seperate the 2. Unless you do 2 A-mains or 3 and do a point series. Give them a little Chance. I would run 2wd Mod with the 4wd guys. I love it outdoors and its fun. :sneaky::sneaky:

ShtLuck 12-14-2010 05:33 PM

I thought we weren't running 4wd....
I guess I had better mine ready.

chris mckinney 12-14-2010 06:12 PM

nope just forgot it on the web page, I am going to combine mod short course and 4x4 together. We haven't had enough mod's show up to make it it's own class this year and when they have they were competitive with the 4x4's

ShtLuck 12-14-2010 06:16 PM

i gotta get a second body now...
more paint work to be done.:D

Hey guys, I know your busy with the Christmas classic. But I have a couple questions.

What is the most popular sct at bumps? I'm thinking of picking up either a sc10 or a blitz.

I still need to pick up some parts for my b4. Should I get different spur gears or stick with the stock one? Is there any other spares I should have on hand?

Thanks!

Either one will be fine. Both types are very popular but the HPI might have the most guys running them overall.
