ARCOR Raceway Albuquerque, NM- Home of the Tumbleweed Classic
Hey Lads,
Here is a thread for ARCOR raceway in Albuquerque, NM.
We are now starting our summer schedule which consists of Saturday night races. Gates open at around 4pm racing starts around 5:30-6pm shortly after our drivers meeting.
Our next race is 5/29 and will be biweekly after that. The night races are all on saturdays.
We have a huge 1/8 scale track 200'x120' we run it wet.
Our 1/10 scale track is dialed! We run it wet for club races and we sugar it up for larger races and run it dry.
Classes are as follows
1/8 Classes
Truggy, Buggy, and electric truggy/buggy
1/10 classes
spec truck, spec buggy, 4wd buggy, 4wd SC, 2wd SC 17.5, gas truck yes I said gas truck, and most importantly novice!
Spec classes are 10.5 and slower motors.

I race at these tracks and they are awesome.
Our driver stands for both tracks are built on top of storage containers, so you get an awesome view of the tracks.
We have covered pit areas at the 1/10 scale track which is just accross the parking lot from the 1/8 track.
We have power at the 1/0 scale track, and running water. We have an ADA ramp on our 1/10 track and one coming soon to the 1/8 track.
AMB computerized timing system and lights on the 1/10 track for night racing.
Come join the fun and race with our club. We are friendly and helpful, and even have some really fast sponsored drivers within our club.

Here's the 2010, schedule the night races are usually held at 5pm. Gates open at 3pm, come on down.

NEW WEBSITE FOR ARCOR
Hey guys,
ARCOR has a new website up, check it out for schedules and info regarding ARCOR Raceway in Albuquerque, NM. ARCOR Raceway is the home of the Tumbleweed Classic, and the Southwest Showdown, we have also hosted the 2004 roar mod nats and the 2007 roar electric nats.
We redid our forum, so if you were registered, you will have to re-register.
