Ok, since I know that was Dylan's mom, a big thanks to her again for grabbing pizza for Eric and I, it was very nice of her.

Eric (not Williams... Pate?) 5-7-(2 or 3) sounds like a good starting point for about 99% of 1/8th scales... you can always tune from there... it's hard to say for sure since that buggy is so light. If nothing else, it should significantly calm down the center and give you better traction all around.

BigDaddy,

Will the track be open for practice this Sunday or is the new layout under construction?

Thanks

1) Had a great time racing with you guys Friday night. Thanks for having us.

2) I hope you all come out for the OEOSS race in a few weeks. Should be great fun with great competition. If you are not familiar you can find info HERE. And I just updated a blog post from round 1 with pics/vids/results HERE. I hope to be taking pics and vids at the OEOSS race at CCCRC too.

PM me or Timmy (nitro0619) with questions.

Rodney and Timmy,

Glad you guys could make it down for a fun night of racing, I'm not sure we could have asked for better weather; I'm looking forward to the OEOSS race at Matt's on the 25th. Hopefully I'm a bit faster on my home track than I was at EN Hobbies! Either way, it was fun mixing it up with the guys from Columbus, definitely made me run a little faster than I normally do.

On that note, here's hoping for good weather this Friday, the Losi is ready to go!

Default SC10 Gear Diff

What are you guys running for Gear diff lube in the SC10? Thinking about building mine and trying it out? Any Recommendation or starting points? I was thinking black grease?

5k is what I ran in my SC10's rear diff last year. Never really tried much else.

I have tried 5K, 7K, and 15k. I like the the 5K the best so far. I was even thinking of going down to 2K for outdoors.

Yeah, I have, it's not like it's more than 3 miles :P Any chunker can do THAT.

But as all of you know, I live my life a quarter mile at a time.
