until we have enough racers IWOULD LIKE TO KEEP everyone together but i also would love to run a mod class ... we had 14 sct last friday two I know were mod one of them being me i didn t run the main teh new brushlee sc10 throughs me another curve ball...how fast is that ??? our spec class will be stock or 17.5 brushless system and open to any sct that comes rtr probley stock fronts and we will settle on allowing aftermarket rears the track changes are minor ( no more triple and a couple more doubles and or table tops) mostly to allow for more drainage as it is now every time it rains an inch it makes about 4 ruts that are in the raceing line I think it will be better for everyone ...ps 4x4 sct is OPEN until further notice i hope the less rules will add up to more rules in this class....I DON T LIKE RULES LOL

we raced with them at crcrc all winter long. I don't see much different in them other than efficiency. Me and a couple others were staying right with them on the straights. It all comes down to driver skill! People will save money switching to the 17.5 brushless rather than keep buying the JUNK slash motors that will last anywheres from 1 race day and 1 month...
I will eventually have a brushless slash. if they start to not run them in spec class ill just go mod slash

Matt, as a guy with a 17.5 turn slash, I'm all for a stock SCT class. I don't know that I'll get out there often enough for my voice to be worth anything, but I am with Dylan (think it was Dylan) om that we raced with them at CRCRC last winter, their 17.5s against our 12Ts and I didn't see anyone just absolutely whooping us (well... Dylan... they whooped me pretty good... that's driver error though). I think stock SCT motor or 17.5 works pretty well as a class.

Matt, looks like the truck I was wanting to run won't be ready by tomorrow, so if you want to get some stuff done on the track and have a helping hand on Saturday, let me know, the fiance is kicking me out of the house to get some studying done. Otherwise I'll probably just go and do some work on my real car... it needs some wax bad. Let me know!
