I don't even really know where to start to try to tell everyone how great
this place is, but I'm going to give it a shot"

First off the staff at this track is all SUPER friendly,helpfull and they all have
a rare quality these days (THEY TRUELLY CARE ABOUT PEOPLE THAT RACE
WITH THEM) You guys & gals are all fantastic people and should all be very
proud of yourselves, your #1 in my books"

The track: This thing is a work of art styled after Super X race tracks. The
dirt is fantastic (where they found this in the middle of a desert I don't know)
it has great traction. There is plenty of tecnical jumps and turns. The guys
that built this track put alot time & thought into it. They have two BIG
screen TV's that they show race lap times (real time) you can keep track
of everything during a race from your pit tables (which are first class) also.
Did I say (AIR TIME?) quality air time thanks to the staff that builds the
track lay outs...

I rode 2 1/2 hours to get to this track & 2 1/2 hours after the races back
home and it was way past well worth the trip. Anyone thinking about
spending the time to drive to this track and race would not be disapointed
in anyway that they made the trip. (I promise you")

I also need to say the local racers are all very friendly. They all drive with
the greatest of respect for each other (even the kids in the novice class)
their parents can be very proud of their kids" All class's that run there are
all very respectful of their fellow drivers on the track. I've never seen such
clean respectful driving at any R/C track. They know what FUN" is all about
in every class...

They tell me the owner was out of town. I'd say this man did a fine job
picking his staff. They run this track like it's their own, they run it first
class all the way" Everyone with a business should be so lucky to have a
staff working for them like these people...

In closing I want to thank Hot Rock Hobbies Lake Havasu City AZ. for taking
a new stock motor out of a new truck for me because they didn't have
one in stock. They knew I was going to Vegas to race and jumped right
in to help me. Jim & Kim are the nicest people you could ever want to
deal with.. When in Lake Havasu AZ. check them out, they will make you
feel welcome (like family).....

agreed.while up there on vacation from s.d i stopped by this track.people were real friendly and track looked real fun.wished i would of brought the r/c toys with me to do some racing.hopfully soon i can make the 6 hour drive to race at such a nice place.

I heard the arizona boys where fast! My son 13 and I are local and love the track. You are rite good people,racing and times.

Sounds like the club has all the right ingredients for a great place to race. I'm more than sure the club owners will be happy to see you relaying all this on this forum for others to see! :cool::tire:

Club vibe is what makes someone return to a track. I've been to tracks where that vibe is lost somewhere, or long gone.

I soon realised that racing at a track with no vibe is like racing with no fun and went back to where I enjoy racing :cool::tire:

we pack up and ride home" :D

Het guys, we're heading out there Friday morning. What time does the track open and what tires & inserts should we run there for 2wd & 4wd. Thanks and can't wait be race at 702.

It is a great place! I recently got back into cars (Planes first, everything else after that) but the staff is great and I'm enjoying spending my free time over there. Great people! SHould be racing again soon and I look forward to staying out of the heat!
