I know RCP has quite a few lipos that are reasonably priced, I am working on some ACE Pow Lipo's, waiting to here back...hopefully just pay shipping.

Hobbypartz.net has the AC6 single battery chargers for around $50 and the 4 battery chargers for about $130...

I also have a Caster discount code that will save 10% off the sale prices or new low prices...so email or PM me if you need parts from Caster.

Hey look who's posting again----ME----lol.

If I run a Lipo receiver pack in my truggy with a spektrum receiver will I need a ubec, sbec, or some other bec?

I would like to go A123 but they are out of stock and have been for awhile. Would some bec device be needed with this battery also? which one?

For those Caster Cats-----Would this battery fit the Caster Sniper?

bec=battery eliminator circuit

It basically regulates the voltage to the receiver. The lipo I posted above is 7.4. Usually this would be way to much for your normal receivers. Spektrum can handle 9.6v, I believe. I'm not sure if the lipo would fry the receiver, but I am sure one of the other guys could answer my question (Jon, Igy, etc) without me putting in to much thought.

i have nothing but blue lipo from hobby partz. i'm planning on picking up some 40c in the near future.

QUESTION... where can i get some DIFF oil? i took my diff apart and my rear diff does not have oil, it only came with grease. according to the manual i can put oil something like 10k to 30k. I'm looking for 10-15k for the front and bout 7k for the rear.

RCP has oil or you can order online at the normal spots (tower, amain, etc).

1. I think a regulator is what you would need, most RX don't handle more than 6vdc very well. Something like this;http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...tor-w-o-Switch

2. The A123 is a 6.6vdc battery not sure if it would need to be stepped down or not.

3. I bought a couple of those and can get them to fit in the sniper but they are very tall.(had to mod the battery hold down) They measure 31mm, I have enRoute's that fit much better and are 24mm tall, length and width are the same. Bottom line, the price is good but not a good fit.

Hope this helps, if you are thinking about the Sniper, talk to me first.

Hobbyking has several warehouses, so if they are coming from the US ship USPS priority to your PSC, if it's coming from Hong Kong ship EMS to your local address

Hobbypartz ship USPS Priority to your PSC
