Finally got on island a couple days ago and should have my stuff sometime in March. I only brought the RC8.2 and Schumacher Cat with me (along with a bunch of my vintage stuff but they are mostly shelf queens). I'll pick up a crawler soon as that seems to be popular out here. What fuels are available out here?

I have only seen Cosmo 20% or 30% around here. Pretty expensive though. About $25-28 for 2L.

Went to the track again. Moved all the little pieces off wood off the straight. Just need to start tearing down the huge piece that is way too heavy to lift. Plan on going back next weekend to start unbolting the stand.

Better than the $35 I was paying for it before the price dropped last year. Cosmo is good fuel, just a little more oil than most others, and if you run the onroad 30%, which is easiest to get, it has less oil than the buggy blend.

What types of crawlers are you guys using? I really like the Honcho just because of the scale appearance but it's always nice to run something similar to the rest of the crowd for parts support.

For the most part we are all running 2.2 comp crawlers.

Damn that sucks. Too bad they had to move location. They would still be in business if they stayed.

So, "Slash Bash" on the 18th? I believe that Monday is a holiday, right?

Went out and found the Track today. Just getting back into the hobby and me and the wife have Stampede's VXL's. Run a lot better than the ol' Tamiya Blackfoot I had when I was a kid. I did a little track maintenance and moved the flipped over platform that is blocking the first lane. Is there anyone that still goes out there? Looking at the original pics of opening day, this place was wicked nice. Are there plans to close it totally?

Been there couple of times past few weeks to clean up the track and run my truggy. Moved over alot of the small pieces. Just need more bodies to move the stand off the straight. Going to mainland for vacation for a week. When I get back, hopefully we can get some guys over there to move the stand and start fixing up the track again.

I got a phone call today, and there is a buggy track about to be built near Awase. I should be getting a call next week about the exact details, but he said it would be big, outdoor, and he wants my help building it. Right now I am assuming it is for 1/10 electric, but when I know more I will post it. He also said they were going to build a drift track inside in May.
