Default Manchester Hobbies, Manchester Connecticut!

Hi All,

Got together with some of our racers and decided to post a thread concerning indoor carpet truck racing over jumps.

We currently run two classes of racing, sportsman truck and open monster truck.

For sportsman truck, the rules are these:

1. 2wd Stadium truck
2. 1800mah or below unmatched 6 cell battery packs
3. Must run a connector, no hardwiring
4. Trinity or Bolink Street Spec motor, you may change the springs and brushes.

For Open Monster:

1. Any chassis 4wd or 2wd
2. Must run monster tires
3. Any motor
4. Any battery pack
5. Monster truck style body

Racing starts at 7:30pm on Fridays and we usually have about 3 to 4 seperate heats being run or more.

We are looking to start the following classes and we are looking for racers who can make it to the Manchester area:

Pro Stadium truck class

This class will have the following rules:

1. 19T Spec motor ( Quad Mags Allowed ) or higher (ie-stock motor )
2. Any 6 cell battery pack
3. Any speed control

Mini-t and Micro Masher class:

To be determined based on turnout

Racing fees are $12 dollars. We will be running a test run of the pro class this coming friday. so if you have the gear feel free to stop in and register. We will also be discussing starting a point series and a trophy race!

The track is a good size, you can check it out at http://www.manchesterhobbies.com and racers are generally fun and more than willing to help each other out. If you are tired of being at a place where just looking at another persons car gets you the evil eye, give Manchester Hobbies try and get back to the fun in RC racing!
