If all goes well a test race will be Sunday afternoon (12 - ??). Weather and a few track issues will determine our fate.

Hey Doug, I was thinking since there arent that many buggys is it possible to run Truggy/Buggy races. Unless there are more buggys coming that I didnt know about?

I think you'll see some once race days actually start because they are in the area. I'll have my buggy and truggy out once the track starts getting settled in. Until then you'll just have to keep following the Revos around the track.

Bring everything you have, If we don't have enough to make a class we will mix them in.

This weekend is free again to help us get better with the lap counting system and tweak the track some more.

So classes aren't that critical. We hope to get a large enough turnout though so we can do individual classes.

I was at the track last night and finished the Drivers stand and did some tweaking on the track.

SC works just fine. The track was designed to have options for all the big stuff so most classes work well. I ran 4x4 Slash last weekend without any trouble. Bowties were hooking up well. You should roll the large jump (unless you're brave) but everything else is golden for SC. This was on a non swept surface so it will be even better this time around when all the loose dirt and small stone is removed.

I only have buggy's but of course I will still be there. Got my ceramic bearings in the mail today so i can finish breaking in my new V-spec. Need to get that going so I can run over Hoovdog's Revo. Just kidding , see you all Sunday.

Default Free Race Weekend at Thumptown RC Raceway

Hey Everyone,

Sunday and Monday are looking really good for racing!!!!!

I went up last nite and swept the entire track and got the loose stuff off, track looks real good. I am planning on watering it down Saturday nite so it will be nice and tacky for Sunday.

Looking forward to everyone coming out and racing.

Remember it is a free race weekend, and all are welcome!!!!!!

We should have a food vendor for this weekend also. We also have a porta potty on site.

So come and have some fun!!!!!

If anyone needs directions just email me at [email protected]
