Sometimes we all just a little change to keep the interest!

I was just being nice because I feel like I could seriously stand up on my own two feet today...I find out in two weeks when my fourth surgery will be.

Default 17.5 Rules

Kevin, are we following the Roar 17.5 rules for your track?

Sorry to say but the track will not be open for practice tomorrow. I tried running a few laps this evening with my E car and it's just too soft. The top tears off of it when you hit the brakes and when you walk on it after the cars have broken the seal on the top layer of dirt. I'll keep you posted for next week.

Thanks,

Kevin.

Matt,

Kevin has always been open to pretty much running any class as long as there are enough guys to run it. It seems to me though, that most of the 1/10 guys all head to Pit Stop on Friday nights.

whats the rules for lipos. Hard case only or are soft packs allowed? Have to order some more packs for the upcoming season and want to make sure I get something that is allowed.

SCT Rules will be 2wd, full fendered body (no bugs), 17.5 or rtr kit motors, no 1/8 scale wheels, No 1/8 scale conversions (must have come from a 1/10 sct kit), 7.4v lipo and 8.4v nimh battery limits

The spec class will be for 2wd Traxxas Slash only, shock caps and RPM parts are allowed. 8.4v nimh and 7.4v lipo limit.

The open class will be open to 2x4 and 4x4 and the only rule is it has to come from a 1/10 sct kit.

Matt,

There has been a lot of talk about running 1/10 4wd buggy class here this summer. I've driven one on the track and it's a lot of fun. I'm open to mod buggy also but I don't know how well they would handle the track. Takes 5 to make a class so call all of the troops and get them out April 30th.

Thanks,

Kevin

So soft case lipos are fine then?

What are the fees to race? Are there fees to practice on the track too?

Count me in for 10th scale 4wd buggy. I don't want to take on too many classes at once till I see how I do. I would also run 8th E truggy and maybe a third, either 8th E buggy or 8th nitro buggy.

I'm also going to be racing my baja 5b at Greenwood Valley in Orangeville, Pa (near Bloomsburg) so I don't know what days that will be.

I'm pretty much going to be a field filler for a while till I get a hang of racing.

Either $15.. or $20 for first class. Then $5 less for second. I'm not 100% sure on that though.

Hope to see you with your E truggy and hope this class takes off this year!
