I agree 100%. I'm held accountable for the size of my nitro engine, but i have to run against a totally different animal and that's ok?

The spings you are talking about...do go on the brake pads

you may want to stay with the fuel tubing with the truggy...it takes some strong brakes to stop those heavy things...

Looks like the weather is warming up for the rest of the week. Will there be anyone going out to practices or will they be redoing the track? I am in Mifflintown and would be more than willing to help with the track. If you need any help let me know. I have Kevin’s old losi 8ight ready to go new engine (still need to finish breaking in) new servos and a good stock of tires.

Default Practice this weekend

I've been out of town for the last 2 weeks and just got back into town. I'm tied up the rest of this week with my ATV stuff but I do have equipment coming this weekend and thoughout next week to begin the screening process and get the new layout down. We are going to work on water run off and drainage so that we can race the day after it rains. I know you guys are all itching to come out and argue over nitro vs electric and all kinds of sct stuff but you'll have to wait for a couple more weeks.

Tentative Classes

1/8 buggy (nitro only)
1/8 Truggy (nitro only)
1/8 electric buggy
SCT Spec
SCT Mod (4x4)
1/10 scale classes are an option if enough guys show up

SCT Spec rules will be out of the box stock with the following exceptions:

The Slash can have shock caps
Losi can have CVD's
All can have RPM Arm & Shock towers as long as they are made for your truck
You may use any shock spring and fluid on any truck

SCT Mod is open to 2x4 & 4x4 any motor, any battery

If you build 1/2 the track that the 1/10 guys can make the jumps they will be there.
They are all looking for a place to race

The track worked fine for sct last year. There were only two jumps that required the 1/10 SCT's to roll instead of jumping.
