GRRS Round #1 rescheduled March 06
Round #1 of the Grass Roots Series (@Thunder Alley Raceway) has been rescheduled for March 6th due to the up coming storm due in this weekend. Round #2 here at HCR will remain unless mother nature has other plans.
We will do our best to reschedule early, so you may make other plans, and not have to wait. We know how that is, to wait to find out a race is canceled due to weather. We hope you can still attend.

6 Race Series. Points awarded after each round. Best 4 of 6 with 2 throwouts.

DNS= 100
Class Definitions:
Sportsman - NO factory support/sponsorship allowed
Intermediate - 50% Chassis allowed
Expert - 100% factory sponsor
(If the race director sees an extreme advantage in lap times in lower classes, that racer may be moved into the next class level regardless of support from any sponsor.)

Fingers are crossed that the rain stays away this weekend, so we can launch round#1 of the GRRS @ Thunder Alley!! It looks like the rain may hold off an extra day.

The plan is (at this point) is to try to run round#1 of GRRS tomorrow at T/A. Hopefully the weather will hold off so this series can get underway. Stay tuned for updated info here, our website & on T/A forum.

Had a great time at GRRS round 1 yesterday. Raced in 2wd mod short course..Hopefully we will have more SC drivers show up at future rounds.Thanks to Rob and the T/A crew for providing a great venue. Looking forward to round 2 at HCR.

yup! a great time yesterday. 60+ entries. not too bad for such a bad weather forecast. Hopefully round #2 will have a better forecast, and get some more entries in all the classes.

Had a good time at TA for the series rd. 1. Was great to get some wheel time for sure. Bummed that the last main rained out. Happy though that we got in as much as we did before the rain.
A little dis-appointed with lack of turnmarshalls. Seems to be a trend lately. Even at the Nitro Challenge, the marshalls weren't showing up to the track. Had to constantly ask for volunteers. Make the program drag on.
