Yeah, the track is looking pretty cool!! Its got a couple interesting monsters in it, and is something that you have not seen at this track before. Definitely a new look, and style.
The pipe was going to get started tonight, after a few touch ups with the tractor. Still some grooming to do, but should be done by tomorrow.
Ill be honest, and say that although there are some burms, there is no veritical walls or vertical burms (how the heck do you spell burms!?).
It looks like it will be a fun track, with some technical stuff thrown into the picture.
With this layout going in, a lot of new ideas popped up for the next one, so track changes are looking good in the future.
A couple different guys worked with the tractor, and both like to build tracks, and like helping out, so it's looking like more often track changes are a good possiblilty!!
I know Mike would want a HUGE thanks to go out to Chase and Don for putting time in on the tractor, and Don for both the time, and equipment!! THAT is HUGE!
With Mike just getting started, it was a huge deal to get both of thier help, since Mike wanted a fresh layout to get things rolling.
I know they are shooting to have it open tomorrow night, so if they dont finish the pipe tonight, there shouldn't be too much to do tomorrow!

The website is in the works. I know that is another thing that he is wanting to get going. For now, you can contact Dynamic Hobby (hemet ca.) for track info.

As for pictures, I personally did not take any, but someone did. I will see if i can get my hands on them, or see if they can post a couple of the build. If I remember, I will take my camera with me tomorrow, and see about getting some with the pipe in.

Hey I was just going off of what I was told. You can thank Richard for that vertical burm rumor. And I quote "Dude we piled like fifthteen feet of dirt against the wall. Is going to be a almost vertical turn". end quote. Lets just say we are all a little excited.

Yeah.. Just left the track and it looks like it is a "go" for tonight. A few pieces of pipe to throw down, and thats about it.

I forgot to take my camera to work, so I didnt get to snap any shots. I will take it with me tonight, and see if I can get anything worth posting.

It looks like it ought to be pretty fun!

I am going to take a wild guess and say that Kaliforniamac is Mike or Richard.
Or your just someone who is as excited as we are. Are the prices going to stay the same?

I just got off the phone with Mike, and he has some timing equipment lined up for tomorrow night, so there will be a group of us out there for some club racing.

Hope to see a few new faces out there, even some old ones!! Friday night fun! Lets do it!

OH YEAH! Gates open @ 5pm Racing @ 7Pm...

Yeah, at this time the prices are the same. $5.00 for practice, and i think 10.00 to race.

I dont see a problem with driving on the small track. Cruise on down.

Cool see you down there tomorrow. I might try the large track however most of the time my T3 ends upside down.

Here is a quick shot of the new layout they have at Hemet. There are a few changes/additions that need to be done, but it seems pretty cool.
