Texarkana Area

Well at the moment I don't know of any built yet. However, there is a guy here in Atlanta, Tx that is going to start working on one now that the weather is changing and I myself plan on building one or two beside my house.

I hope to go talk to the other guy tomorrow if its not raining to see what all his plans are. We are both looking at the possibility of opening a track/hobbyshop of some type depending on the turn out. He knows of around 5 guys that are into Nitro not including myself. I have both electric and nitro but really prefer electric if at all possible. My son in law has a Slash and I know of one other guy that has a couple of Rustler and soon to get a Slash himself.

On a personal note I looked into a few buildings here in Atlanta to build a nice indoor dirt and possible carpet track. I found the perfect building here locally but I think I will see what the turn out is and what the feeling about an indoor track is before going to much further on that.

On the outdoor track I plan on having hopefully an oval and offroad to tinker with my own personal stuff but might open it up for people. Hope to get started on the outdoor track in a few weeks. ( Got to get my tractor up and running first :( )

Other then that the only tracks I know of are in Shreveport ( 2 ), Little Rock, and I think one near Greenville. Mike's in Carrollton ( DFW ) is getting the approval to build an outdoor track next to his hobbystore but thats a good ride from Texarkana.

Hope that helps
Paul
