Default Indoor Carpet Oval and Offroad - SoCal?

My father and I are thinking of opening an indoor Carpet Oval and DirtOval / Offroad.

Any interest for indoor or should we just look into outdoor?

Some ideas floating around in our heads:
* On site food.
* On site hobby shop.
* On site body painter
* AMB Transponders
* Spacious pit area
* Able to bring your laptop and see up to date lap times and what time your races are.
* Web cams for people online to watch, and racers could also order video of their race on CD or DVD for 2-3 dollars.
* Ability to rent electric 1/18th scale for families and people looking to get into the RC world.
* Monthly championships with Track Bucks you could spend at the hobby shop, at the food or even redeem for real money.

In the Victorville area, or even down the hill if it would be better for you guys.

Another idea that was introduced, carpet off-road. So we could also have indoor off-road but the oval guys wouldn't have to worry about dirt destroying the track.

Going to be looking at a 12,000 Sqft building in the coming week.

We're hoping to keep this in the IE area.

Go for it! Hopefully somewhere near Corona! Im game! I would love to race oval again. With all the cars currently out there this would be easy to do!

Thumbs up Carpet

I would support anything on carpet since There is pretty much nothing out here on the surface to run on.

Yeah, checked out a building in Ontario, price was right, so I'm still doing alot of calculations for prices. Would only be able to do Electric only.

Would anyone be interested in buying a DVD of their races, or a race, for say 4-5 bucks? I was thinking of installing some cameras around the tracks and allowing racers to order their races on DVD for cheap.

Ontario would be a better location since it is not to far for people in Orange and the LA area.
