thanks to everyone for coming out. We had 58 entries. It's too bad we couldn't get through all the mains, but that was some wicked wind. Shortly after most people had left it really rained hard too.

Remember, we race on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month, with the 4th being a points race.

you guys didnt even get through the mt mains huh? its a shame my buggy kept thermalling, besides the frontflips and backflips i was really smooth, did you happen to see my showing off i couldnt help it

Start reading the 1/8 conversion thread. You'll get all the help you'll ever need with some of the problems you were having. Mine started to do the flips in the mains, but it was because of the plastic skid plate digging into the ground.


It is off now. I think it's easier to just buy a new chassis plate.

hey tom, tom's right? correct? lol, i picked up some thermal paste to put in between the heat sink and the motor, i think it was trapping heat in between the two, if that dont fix it then i will pitch the motor, you got a link to that thread i couldnt find it

It looks like you found the thread. It's hard to miss with 7500s post in a year. Did you have a running fan on your ESC?

yea i had a fan on it that was not the issue tho, that was running around 140, motor was running 220!

woot i got second in the monster truck! larry is just to smooth for me tho, he got me almost every lap. i was till happy with second tho, cant wait another three weeks to race!

There will be a hand full of us out on Saturday to play if anyone wants to join in the fun. Most of us will show up around 9-10 am and play till.........
