Roll Call for 5/9 - I'm in for Mod Truck and Mod 4wd - Who else wants to run mod?

Count me in for Mod Buggy!!!

I should have my T-Maxx back in working order by then. Never raced it but it sure can run over things. I'm willing to give it a shot.

Can someone fill me in on the advantage or disadvantage of the big bore shocks, I have 2 RC8's and 1 has them and one don't, I am assuming they must have an advantage, do they need to be set up different? Should i use a lighter weight oil since there is more of it?? HELP!!!!!!!!!

Big Bore's will take longer to start to fade since they hold more oil. I do not beleive more oil would attribute to any difference in set-up's.

NEXT!!!!

I believe this is the case. At least when I went from Jammin 13mm to 16mm the oils got lighter. Just look at some AE set up sheets. Polish up my Slash on this off weekend too. Thanks

Default Initial Setup

Ok, so I'm tearing down and cleaning my "New" 1/8 Buggy. When I put it back together what should I start out with as far as Shock Oil, Diff Oil, Camber, and Toe? This will give me something to do while waiting to buy the other necessary parts.

Joe, I would try to get a set up from the manufacturer's website or fansite.

http://www.rc-truckncar-tuning.com/kyosho-setup.html

If your car is a 777, I would try the Pavidis set up:

You guys ready for Sunday???????? We'll keep an eye on the forecast. As stated in their thread, the track does have excellent drainage. The forecast for the only race I went to there said the same thing; chance of lunch time rain. I came home sunburned
