Rechargeable aa' tech?
I noticed that my rechargeable AA's in my radio took 11.9 and 12.0v last night. They never took more than 11.8v. Probably starting to go bad.What point would you toss them? Im getting about 15 min of use before it drops to 9.2,9.0 and I charge.

I would say its time to ditch em, especially if they are those "yellow" ones that come w/the charger. I went out and bought the energizer re-chargeable that hold a lot more ma's then the "yellow" ones do and once they are charged i can run several weeks of races before i need to charge them again

well when ever the races get back to Saturdays or when i get put back on 1st shift. Right now I am workin while u are all playin. Summer is looking good though, I work till 1 on Sundays, so if i take my shit to work w/me and the slashs run last i should be able to make it in time

I think that is Mayfield. What a MORON. That is an organic vapor respirator, totally useless against carbon monoxide, the main toxic constituent of burning nitromethane. Typical rediculous behavior from an AE driver. Im not sure what is a bigger waste of money, going to lowes and buying that stupid half-facepiece air purifying respirator designed for light exposure to paint vapors, or buying anything other than an MBX6!!!!
Apparently were I race, we forget alot. Someone toasted a LIPO Tx pack with a fire that you could cook marshmallows on. Do ya think maybe then next week the owner would have a fire extinguisher or 2?? Duhhhhhhhhh I forgot. Must be the fumes or the green stuff
Anyways, I must have told him a million times how to pronounce Ed's last name and still he calls him Ed Toth...rhymes with Sloth.

Dave, I answer to tOth or Toth and sometimes Tooth or even Toad. It doesnt matter what they call me, just so long as they call out my name and a lap time every once is a while.
Wasnt that lipo fire the result of of someone charging a receiver pack?
We wouldnt have those problems if people understood that RC is better when you use the battery to power the entire car.

I personally think he was charging the TX lipo on the regular LIPO settings....But according to him, he did nothing wrong. He's burned up 3 or 4 Novak ESCs and a couple lipos. No....he's no doing anything wrong....

Its time for me to start thinning out the 'herd'. I'm going to post here first and then at the buy/sell section of RC tech later.
TT01 + Tons of spares $60 (includes tamiya ESC & silver can motor).
TAO5r IFS roller: $125 This was Georges touring car. I can include a brushed ESC and 19T motor for another $75.
BJ4 roller: $100.
RC10L4 roller $75.
