Since my mind is already wandering to warm weather and outdoor offroad racing - I have a question for you guys. Since I've never run 1/8 scale at Altoona - what tires worked last year on 1/8 scale buggy? I'm getting things together and want to make sure I have whatever is working out there for my 8ight.

Thanks!

Crime Fighter m3's Chris, although I think the Bow-Ties were'nt to bad either in m3 compound! I was going to ask you if you planned on running any 1/8 scale at TRS this summer.

Sounds like you just did except you forget the question mark after summer.

Doofus.

Chris - M3 Bow Ties by far worked best for me. M3 Crime Fighters worked ok but I always raced with the Bow Ties. Just a warning, M3's get chewed up pretty fast on that surface. I always used the stock Pro-Line molded foams because by the time the foam was shot the tire was too. I always ran 5-5-2 in the diffs which made the car very easy to drive. Any higher in the center made the car accelerate too aggressively out of the hole. Also change the center weekly if you run 5k because it gets worked pretty hard. I have no complaints on how my Losi handled on that track. I couldn't get it to feel right to me on any other tracks though...McCullough's Indoor/Outdoor.

Did I hear correctly that the oval will be different for the big race? Not sure where I heard this or maybe I am delirious. Thanks. Bob
