A couple of months ago I moved with my family from Europe to New York City, and took all my rc stuff with me. I was wondering if there are any nitro offroad tracks close to Manhattan/New York City. Pretty close is important for me as it doesn't make any sense when living and working in the City to own a car, so I always have to fallback on public transport when carrying my stuff to a track.

Any suggestions are very welcome.

no nitro tracks but bruckner hobbies i think and qcrc unlimited runs offroad...

i live in nyc too.. but race onroad
good close tracks are Willis hobbies and South shore.
Theres LI raceway for offroad but ive never been there.
where in ny do you live? maybe we can carpool to the local tracks.. or share a cab

Dear Dynasty, thanks for your quick response! When moving from Europe I took all cars with me including 1:8 (Mugen) and 1:10 scale (Serpent) onroad cars as well as my 1:8 scale buggy (Xray). I live in downtown Manhattan (Little Italy), and sounds good if I can join you visiting some tracks.

If any one knows* of any more... please add to this list.*Unfortunately, land is way too expensive in NYC and large race tracks cant afford to stay in business here. How many of you guys remember John Lee's Queens Off Roaders? Wouldn't it be great if someone convinced the director of*Chelsea Pears to open a RC Racetrack over*there just like Q.O.R.!*Until then.. here goes a list of our tracks..
