Default In need of some assistance.

Does any one know of any tracks in michigan that still race Nitro Touring cars?

I'm aware of the track in Grand Rapids, but I'm not willing to drive 120 miles one way at $2.80 a gallon just to drive my car.

If not, I could use some help setting up a race of my own.

Advertising a Race?
Classes to run?
Materials Needed?

Any information would be much appreciated.

Even If I don't race. I would like to see Nitro on-road racing make a come back in Michigan.

I've got the perfect location for a race.

It's a concrete hockey rink under a pavilion. The place is HUGE!! 200ft x 85ft

This place is fabulas. You can drive during a rain storn, your alway in the shade. It has mens an womens restrooms connected to the smaller pavilion right along side the rink (pit area)

The concrete's a little dusty but I'm sure a broom and a leaf blower will fix it up well enough to hold a race.

Its far better than the beat up parking lots around here.

If your not sinking you car in pot holes, your dodging traffic while getting an ear full from business owners who think you're a nusance.

I've got a few hobby shops in the area interested , but I need enough interest from people wanting to race before anyone will sponser an event.
