Play with gearing a bit at tracks. Depends on what track deciphers. stock to 1 or 2 teeth up is all you'll need without running into heat issues and plenty fast. One fan on motor and one on the esc.

Sweeps, Taher, and the new GQ tires which are lighter and wear longer than sweeps but less than Taher. Shores mainly 45ish or Yellow's , 50's for the hotter days.

I have a set of sweeps with a bunch of laps on them (treaded), and some new GRPs and Impanema tires (thanks Juan!). Going to depend on track temps.

I really wish there was a way to correlate shores to some of the mfgs (XSoft, S2, 40 shore, etc etc)

I'd say run what you have, learn your car and go from there. Team Misfits are here to help with true trial and errors results. Come on over and chat some.

Only 2 weeks to go until the biggie and it sounds like this is going to be decent sized class! You all need to check out the RCRCNT facebook page as the volunteers have made HUGE strides in getting the track ready to go. Huge thanks out to everyone there!

Huge turn out this weekend for the Biggie with the GT8e class being the largest! Had a ton of fun getting to race you all and look forward to doing it more often. And getting a newer/purpose made car, my losi wasnt bad but damn after driving scott's serpent I was shocked how much easier it was to go a ton faster/be more consistent.

Only a couple more week until the next race at RCRCNT for the GT8 guys! Should have 1 or 2 more new guys coming out and I have a couple new setup tweaks to test. Looking forward to July 28-29th!

Great turn out this weekend at Rendon with guys from all over the state coming in for the series race! Good mix of drivers and cars. Ended up 4th overall as the car continues to get a bit better each time I tinker with it. 2250 is a bit too much I think and want to drop to a 1900 as I was pulling people all around the straight and sweeper. While it was hot (100*+ both days) we had a great time. Bring on the ROAR race!
