I spoke with Ronnie yesterday and short course will be oval this year. The front straight has been narrowed some since there is no off road in the infield anymore. So bring out your short course based trucks (short course body or dirt oval conversions) and lets have some fun.

Wild Bills Raceway
535 E. Shady Grove Road
Irving, Texas 75060

Outdoor banked, dirt oval, approximately 185 foot driveline, loose dirt surface, Computerized scoring, hobby shop.

All classes are open motor & speedo except for street stock rules which are #1-the car must be a 2wd off road buggy that is rear engine. #2 Reedy 3300kv brushless system ASC 936 #3-Dynimate Speed Pack 20c 4000 Dyn 5200 #4-There will be no modifications to the stock suspension to mount the body. #5-All cars will run stock replacement parts for manufacture car. McAllister Camaro Street Stock #264 /Monte Carlo Street Stock #268. These were last years rules and meant that you could buy a RTR Associated B4.1, but the Dynamite part #5200 20C 4000mAh Deans plug pack, a good charger, and mount a McAllister body and go dirt oval racing.

DODC body and electric mod rules apply for all DODC classes.

You will need to check with Ronnie for any rules updates.

One more day, one more day, one more day...

Default I'll see about getting up there soon

I'll have to see about getting up there. Went to HOT Fri night to watch the Scrivner's run. Robert is doing the sportmod thing this year and Paul is in hobby stock. I put up Robert's qualifier on my youtube page last night and I'm working on his main tonight. A few photos on my photoblog at www.promofo-racing.org/Photography. Built myself a hybrid camera for video and I have a Canon 7D for still shots. The 7D is a dream for fast action shooting. And once the camera I built the hybrid comes out in July I'll have really good equipment for both video and stills. I had planned on using the 7D but it with the lens is just too heavy for an old coffin dodger like me. The Blackmagic camera is a micro 4:3 lens and tiny body. Just a little over a pound total. But it puts out a super 16 HD image that rivals the big boys. I can come up there for Friday then go back towards Killeen and catch the Sat night races on my way home. Gotta motel if I go that far anyways might as well catch two races. See you soon.

Default New Class at Wild Bills.

Just a heads up that we are still running every Friday night and there is a new class starting. Wild Bills is now running Short Course Modifieds.

2 wheel drive trucks with USMTS style modified bodies.
13.5 motor.
Any ROAR Approved or hardcase 2S battery.
Any Short Course tire (no Stadium Truck tires).
Stock and aftermarket Short Course chassis only (No LTO conversions).
The group is still discussing the other rules.
Come on out and get in on the ground floor.

Other classes running are:
Stadium truck based EDM (most are GT/GT2 conversions)
DODC Rubber Tire Modified Sprint Car (7" Wings)
DODC Rubber Tire Modified Late Model
Street Stock (2 wheel drive buggy based with McAllister Street Stock bodies.).
