hello i am new to texas an looking for a good carpet track in the ft worth area i i run oval and on road just looking to wipr the dust off and make some laps were would be a good place to run mod tc

The nearest indoor onroad track that I know of is Mike's in Carrolton. It is supposed to be a HUGE hobby shop with several different indoor/outdoor tracks to run on. I haven't been there myself yet.

I'm pretty sure www.mikeshobbyshop.com is the only place in the area for carpet racing

Mikes is great. Never a bad experience. I travel 2hrs to go there.

pfft, only two? when I make the trip it's just under 3 hours. probably why I can only make it there every couple months or so

Currently Mike's in Carrollton is the only carpet in the area. They do not run oval there on the carpet. For oval you would have to go to either Indy RC World in Garland or Will Bills in Irving. I think Speed Monkey in Irving might have an oval as well. All the oval racing is dirt though not carpet. All are great places to run. Hope that help. I have only seen one in the DFW area, its at Mike's Hobby shop in Carrollton.
