Default Traxxas 1/16th scale rally racing!

we run a race every sunday, switching between to tracks here in houston. one race at mikes hobby shop in porter, the other at RCH in katy. come out and race your rally. its fun, the cars are cheap, and once they are set-up they handle like touring cars! so come on out and enjoy the fun!

Rally class, it has to be a Traxxas Rally 1/16 scale.
From my understanding it can be hopped up and anything can be put in.
The catch is they don't handle LOL so its Hilarious watching them.
U can stuff as much power into them as you want the problem if you can't get it to the ground its useless but FUN !!!

This was this past sunday.
Set it to 720p for best result (1080p has sync issues)
+ YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

I really enjoyed the videos. In our area at the Hobbytown in St. Charles, IL, we've had a good turnout of Traxxas Rally cars. They are a lot fun and we have people of all ages.

Hi Guys,

I have a stock Mustang VXL and I want to buy some upgrades for it. What hop-ups do you recomend?

I want to buy the Center Differential, but I did not understood if I have to buy also the Steel Constant Velocity Center Driveshafts and the Steel constant-velocity driveshafts. Those parts can be used just together, or I can buy one by one and install then separately?

Thanks a lot!

I'm pretty sure you can install them separately. Get the Black springs with a 4.3 rate. they are a must. Good tires are also a must and vary greatly depending on what track you plan on running at.

I did a build up guide with mine. http://mainlandrc.wordpress.com/trax...-race-edition/

I would recommend the Traxxas upgraded shocks and some after market adjustable push rods.

get the hot bodies shock because they have a screw on lower cap instead of the clip on which tends to pop off. i had that problem with my off road 1/16 but not with the on road.

They're definitely adding a rally class it's just a question of thursday night or saturdays. they want to add some really family oriented racing with some traxxas stuff at the center.

Had good rally racing at Hobbytown USA in St. Charles, IL yesterday. Seven cars in the class a mixture of young, old, and really old. Sorry, no pictures.
