Got a chance to visit Indy for the first time last night! The layout was really cool. The best part, for me, was how relaxed and laid back everyone was. It was really nice not to see anyone get upset and just having a good time!

We hear ya....
Gentlemen,
Mikes and Indy are two totally different tracks.
Mike's is a World Class race venue that has indoor and outdoor offerings.
Indoor carpet with very competitive racers in the area.
Indoor 1/10 offroad dirt again with some very competitive racers.
Outdoor 1/8th scale track. Nice and open design which is easy to get to.
Indy is much older facility that is in the process of rehab. Lord knows it needs it!
Indoor offroad that can host 1/8th or 1/10 scale.
Indoor Friday night oval on the clay. Very fast foam tire action.
Bottom line is we are very fortunate to have both of these facilities here in DFW. And as each of us improve our respective venues, the racers benefit more and more.
All of the Mike's guys are welcome at Indy without question and that has always been the case. All of the Indy racers go over and support Mike's track. Heck... we even send customers each others way all of the time.
Indy has just changed its Saturday program to 1st and 3rd Sundays. This should allow all of the offroad racers in the Dallas area more options to get their race on. Mike's runs races on Thursday night... Indy runs races on Tuesday night.
Mike's has the golden arches! Indy has the golden arcs!
In the immortal words of Mike B... "Its all good!"
Whether it be Mike's or Indy, you guys will always have a place to go.
Tex
