I may look into getting a Nitro TC3 or Serpent, if I can find some place to race it around here as well as there, mostly electric here, that's why we make the Trek to Dallas once a month to race Nitro Off-road!!!! Now in Shreveport too as well, which isn't near as far away!!!!

What .15 engine seems to be the one of choice there, the one that came with my RS4 looks like one of those old R/C Plane engines instead of one of the now more conventional engine with cooling head!!!!

I wish I knew more about the vaious displacements used at HTRLrc. I see and hear a lot of OS but I really have no clue.

Our racers choices (.15) :: CVR black head seems to be the popular motor, Hyper is second, and then HPI SS.

RCCadet: Thanks, just gettin' ideas for possible future purchases!!! I would like to go through & update my RS4 with some of the newest hop ups!!!!

I will run with you in the near future. I might make the change to Nitro very soon. At least, not until the FL series is finished.

RCCadet: HTRL is pretty close to the Vista Ridge & Grape Vine Mills Malls isn't it???? You'll have to excuse me I live like 3 hrs from there!!!!!

Yes its right up the street from Vista Ridge on FM3040. Just continue west until the road turns into a 2 lane road. Then look for the Tom Thumb supermarket. We setup right behind their gas station.
