Hello SWCS Racers,

There was an issue with the original date in Porter for the March Race on
the 19th & 20th. They are hosting an offroad race that weekend therefore
the SWCS Race will be moved to the folowing weekend on the 26th & 27th.

Here is a new service this year. We have a link on the SWCS web site www.thirdcoastracing.com that allows you to notify the SWCS of your intent to enter an upcoming race. Once we receive your entry, I will update the list below. This will help everyone see who is going to a particular race. Go ahead and get your entry in and pay when you get to the track.

Congrats to Andy L. on taking the 1st win of the year at the swcs race in Rendon in GT8. Thanks guys for welcoming us in this year swcs schedule of races. If you guys have not been to one, you are definitely missing out.

The next SWCS race will be on March 26-27 at Gulf Coast Raceway in Porter. If you want to get some practice in before the event, there is a scheduled club race on SAT, MAR 12th. Call the shop (Jeremy) at 281-577-8250 for detail.

Won't be able to make the club race but planning on making the SWCS race. If you see John Cooper, if he still has his Inferno GT car, tell him to dust it off and get some practice on it. There looks to be enough to substain a class of them this year if the Austin guys travel to this race. Pass the word to anybody else that have GT cars to bring them out if they can.

Will results be posted? What r the hotels/motels in the area? Since I seem to be the ATX unofficial coordinator, Gotta plan for the Gang.

JLOCK - Coop keeps an eye on the thread and I am sure that he is aware of the resurgence and will consider playing with the GT's. I saw that you also raced your 1/8th Open and hope that you will bring that with to GCR in March.

PIT RACER - I just received the result pages and point standings this evening via email and hope to make time to post them to the web site tonight but not later than tomorrow night.

Tell Coop to dust his off and get it ready to race. He will have fun racing it again due to the new level of competition that is running now. Yes, I did run my 8th scale Lola and it will be with me at the next race. I hope to do better than I did in the first race in both classes. I will even bring the touring car (my new NT1R) for some test runs on the track. Trying another brand of touring car for the first time in 10 years of racing touring (have run Mugen since the MTX2 days).
