have losi 8 elec. losi xx4 losixxxcr .coming el paso to work.all i found is hals hobbies.eneny in door tracks.will be at army base.thanks.

Yea hals, Rc and me, and are the only 8 scale tracks I have an emaxx but mess around at red sands it is a blast the other 2 tracks are for 10 scale I would definatly visit all the Rc shops in town and u will get to meet different people , I hang out at team valadez hobbies they are open late as well there is no indoor tracks here sorry

Looking forward to arriving at El Paso mid-next year to work at Ft. Bliss. Is there any local race forums available to see/hear of race schedules, track pics/conditions, etc. Thanks for any assistance anyone can provide.

Under rcshortcourse.com forum section then go into the new Mexico section we have a couple guys from new Mexico come over ,then you can see schedule kinda , look for a thread labeled sc photos that has a lot of photos

When you say "quite a few" were you referring to off-road tracks only? The only out-door on-road track I have found is at Hal's.

I don't know if they run onroad anymore the only thing that is out here is off road, we tried on road but it wasn't successful

I talked to someone at hals yesterday and he told me the on road track is free to run but the off road track cost $, so I am assuming the track isnt kept up. I will try to get out there tomorrow.

BTW, I know George from rock crawling.

Just picked up a on-road nitro, I am going to set up for drifting. I really like the control of a drift car. my crawler is in pieces, if I can get it together this week i will come out.

I saw this thread and had to daydream about "if" I was into RC while I was down at Ft. Bliss... we spent so much time out in the field I could have gotten away with having a car with me to play in the dunes... you guys are certainly lucky!
