I've been here a few times (today as a matter of fact!) and just love the place. Class facility, great amenities and just a killer track with ridiculous grip!
A/C and shade is pretty nice in the harsh TX summers!

just about everything is working..
for me.. and chris allison..
2wd truck double dees all around seem to be the most consistant.. i have used barcodes.. but for me they lacked the side bite i wanted..
for me
4wd mod kyosho
i use taper pins in front.. amazing steering.. begining of the night.. i got hole shots on.. then the pins get smaller.. to tapers in the rear.. i also like bar codes on the rear too.. i think barcodes and tapers are basically the same design on the front tires..
2wd buggy
i used tapers in front.. edges pushed for me.. and barcodes or tapers in rear.. seemed bout the same.. tapers seemed more aggressive.. which i liked..

For those who didn't go you missed one heck of an awesome facility. Traction was killer, the surface was smooth and the people were great. The competition was great this past weekend and I would like to thank Chris Allison and Ron Atomic for holding the event and the excellent accommodations.
The fajitas from the caterers was excellent and very much appreciated.
For future reference there were plenty of hotels to choose from. Some as cheap as $50/night that were nice enough for 99% of us rc racers. The track is within 10 miles of a mall and hotels are pretty much everywhere. The view from about 100 yards from the track, overlooks Lake Travis and is gorgeous.

I guess there won't be any cross town races since N-Control is closing now. looks like everyone will have to switch to electric.

Please don't kill off Ncontrol just yet, there are a few interests in the facility. One of them will continue on with that program. Saw the plan yesterday, it is workable.

3 of your cars there are good classes for every weekend and a wall full of Schumacher parts, just in case.
