San Antonio, TX RC Touring
Hi there, I live in Austin but am in the San Antonio area quite a bit on the weekends. Does anyone know what tracks are in that area. I am mainly interested in on road touring. Any info would be helpful.
Thanks
Thanks

They race 1/10 nitro for sure at Hobby Town USA in SA.
I think it's every weekend. First weekend of the month is on a Sunday. All other weekends are on Sat. Give the them a call, there is only one Hobby Town in SA.
Also you know they race in Austin at the Hobby Town also, in the Fry's parking lot Sat afternoons.
checkout rcfiles.c0m for Austin activity.

jk1152,
Thanks for the info. I'm there this weekend and will check them out on Sunday.
I just went to check out the race at Hobby Town in Austin TX, pretty cool spot. I will start racing there in a couple of weeks. Do you race there?

I updated my profile with my location. I'm in Houston. But I have raced in Austin maybe 3-4 times, since I have some family there. If your running nitro touring then they have two classes usually, modified and stock sportsman, I'm sure you'll have fun in either one.

Nice... I have friends in Houston and go there from time to time. What tracks are good in that area? I'll let you know next time I make it down there.
I race electric touring, only tried nitro a few times. I also joined rcfiles, definately a good place for local tx info. Thanks again for the info.
