Seeking onroad track in Dallas...
 

Is there a permanent onroad track (for 1/10) anywhere around Dallas? I know that "Finish Line" sets up for racing, but I really am in need of some setup time/practice.

Any information is appreciated,

T&t in plano on the first and thrid sunday every month. INdy rc world in garland has a perm track but i think right now its getting worked on.Its no where near the size of finish line or t&t though if thats what your use too.Indy is kinda small. :nod:

Indy, T&T, HTRLrc, Finishline, and possibly another Hobbytown track is due to start next year.

Is Indy the only "permanent" track? Do you happen to know the nearest intersection in Garland?

Which Hobbytown? The one by Dave and Buster's?

Whom would've thunk it.....somebody actually posting on the Texas thread........any tracks racing on-road during the winter????????If its too cold outside...come on over to Shreveport LA. and race indoor Ozite with us...we are supposed to race on Jan 4th. Saturday....check the Shreveport thread for confirmation........Mod sedan(foam),stock sedan(foam) and 1/12.

The Hobbytown that will be starting a new on-road track is located next to Dave and Busters on Walnut Hill of Central Expressway. They hope to start operations near the end of Jan, beginning of Feb at the earliest.

There is mikes hobby shop in carrollton. They have a onroad and offroad track free to use. The address is 1201 N. IH-35 E Carrollton, TX, 75006

I was about to say Mikes too, until I saw the dates on the previous posts.

A newbie to the forum. Apparently, noticing the dates of the postings was not high on the observation list.

Can't, wife works saturday and sunday so no racing for me. Are alot of people going to the proseries race next week or is there going to be a decent crowd at JCG?

The race director and shop employee will be at the pro series, so no racing next weekend. That's what I was told anyway.

Back on topic I guess, are there any onroad tracks in the dallas area besides Mikes? Mike's is great don't get me wrong, I just would prefer to run outdoors in the summer
