SOUTH AUSTIN RACING at the ACC CAMPUS
Hello everyone,
There is a small group of RC fans getting together on Sunday mornings at the ACC (Austin Community College) Pinnacle campus off Highway 290 - in the lower (abandoned) parking lot.
By small group I mean 3 to 4 guys, running 1/10 SC trucks (mostly Slashes and ProLine Kits) and 1/7 ARRMA Infractions and Limitless. We set-up a track consisting of 1/2" PVC pipes to outline the track complete with jumps, chicane and is large enough to accommodate high speed runs! The parking lot is huge and as mentioned it's abandoned so we have it all to ourselves.
We coordinate these racing sessions via text messages every week, ensuring everyone is invited and able to come out and play. Important, we're not professional racers...we just do it for fun! We're normally there for 2 to 3 hours.
So, if you have an RC truck or car, live in the South Austin area and looking to join a small group of dudes on Sundays then reply to this post so that we can get you in the mix!
