Saturday Night Lights racing at Hobbytown
We had our first race last Saturday under the lights at Johnson City Hobbytown.
Track is awesome, and has a fantastic enter jump that is huge.
Big turnout for SCT 2WD and 4WD as well as E buggy.
Looking for another huge turnout this coming Saturday.
Come on out and race with some really fast, fantastic racers.
$15 buck'o roo's and a Robotronics Transponder.
I have one for rent for a race day if needed.

We had a blast up there Saturday. The rain was a bummer, but you guys have a fun little track. I'll certainly be back!

Awesome man, glad you had a good time. The rain was a bummer no doubt, when the 2nd wave came in I knew we couldn't wait that one out.
I went up there Sunday after replacing my motor I burnt out, so here is a clip of the track in case others are interested.

Digg'n the video man. Glad to see the Hobby Town steppin up and putting a track together for you all.
I'll try to make it up there soon. Is the track open for practice when you all aren't racing? Seems perfect for 1/10 buggy, any of those running?

It is open for practice any time you want to come. I think it is $5 for practice.
I tried to get them to run 2WD buggy, but a lot of the guys don't like to drive them. I still have mine if you brought some guys with you on race day maybe we could run a class.

You might check out the spring hill track. It should be quite a bit closer.

BOTH! If we have less than 10 we run them together, but if we have enough of both they are separated into two classes.
This weekend was a blast. Big thanks to Steve for putting up with us and also for having the track in mint condition. The surface is getting really REALLY nice.

Is it $15 per class or is the 2nd class cheaper?
