The layout is alot of fun in reverse. I tried it forward and it was difficult.
That's right they are now running the layout in reverse. The 2wd buggies were flying over the jumps. I however ran 4wd Corr Truck.
Looking forward to racing again there before too long.

I have some good news and some bad news.

Good news is it's been good enough weather to work on the track.
Bad news is that we are getting snow next week.

So I dont know when they are going to work on the track.

Im getting my cars ready thou, it's going to be getting warmer eventually.
Im actually going to buy a personal transponder this year. No more getting
the track transponders.

Im surprized nobody has answered you yet.
There have been talks of running them, I know electric 8ths show up from time to time. But if you did show up with one Im sure they'll have some.

Im posting because they have a Hatfield and McCoy race series coming up.
Golfland and Reo are teaming up to have alternating weekends.

May 10th I believe is golfland's first race of the season. Should be exciting.

Alternating schedule between Reo and Golfland with big races starting this month
This is from forum

ok boys robert and i have met over dinner and we think we have a great summer line up ready for our local and traveling crowds. first off everyone knows of the fued between these tracks that has went on for several years, the time has come for both of us to put asside our differences and put on the best summer of racing this area has ever seen!!!!! and we both agreed i was right!!! lol (that was a joke)

this years lineup is going to be offset weekends at each track starting may 3rd with the kickoff race hog fest the following weekend is golfland and we will change back and forth every week! during this we will incorperate a six race series (hatfields and mccoy) with trophies for tq thru 3rd every round, and 1st thru 10th overall. as a added bonus everytime you enter a class your name will be put into a hat for a free kit at the end of the series. we will be giving away a stadium truck, 2wd buggy, corr truck and a 4x4 corr truck. so the more you race the better chance you have of upgrading your rides!!! we will also have during series races a dash for cash for the largest class singed up that day winner to recieve $50 cash. rain outs will not be a problem robert and i have agreed that robert will decide if its going to rain or going to be to wet and golfland is goint to run their races at reo if that becomes the case.
so there will be racing every weekend this summer between the two tracks. so here it is in a nutshell

MAY
3rd hog fest reo
10th golfland
17th reo
24th golfland round 1 hatfield and mccoy
31st reoround 2 hatfield and mccoy
JUNE
7th golfland
14th reo
21st golfland round 3 hatfield and mccoy
28th reo
JULY
5th golfland
12th reo round 4 hatfield and mccoy
19th golfland
26th reo
AUG.
2nd golfland round 5 hatfield and mccoy
9th reo
16th golfland
23rd reo final round hatfield and mccoy
30th golfland
SEPT.
6th reo
13th golfland
20th reo
27th golfland

october is a wild card month we plan on the rotation staying and we will have some sort of appreciation day at one of the 2 tracks and maybe both we are going to play it by ear and see what happens. at reo we are planning to open an out door track as well but we will always keep the indoor preped and ready to go whenever weather dictates it

oh and for the guys running 1/8th buggy and any other class not mentioned your name will also be put into a hat of your choosing so dont feel left out.

Pinned your track info to a google tn-ky track map in the tn-ky rc track calendar thread. Hope this helps people find you.

Racing May 10th
by rkhobby Mon May 05, 2014 9:12 pm
The new track is just a few hours from being completed and it is a new layout from the ground up. I expect the lap times to be a little faster this year with what I expect to be a very fast flowing track. I am very excited about this layout and think it will be our best track yet. Our first race will be this Saturday May 10th at Golfland weather permitting. The great thing about this season is if it rains we will be moving the race indoors to Reo Raceway as Jay has been more than kind in allowing us to do this. Please watch the forums to keep updated in the event that rain is likely. We will post in this forum where the race will be. We look forward to seeing everyone at the track for what I think will be our best season ever!!
