Default Can someone fix my I charger 106b

The buttons are not working properly and need replaced, if you can fix it please lmk I'd hate to buy new chargers when a button can be replaced. Thanks!

These type of switch/buttons are integrated with the circuit board.
They would be almost impossible to replace. If they are intermittent , I
would think that it could be dust infiltration . I would take it apart and try to
clean it first. This is my guess!

The start button takes a lot of abuse and the "click" is gone from the button.. Changing it can be done by the right person.

Got the old switch out and heading to RadioShack to see if they have the switch.

I picked up a 4 pack of micro switches for under $5 at radio shack.

Let us know how it goes. I have the same thing going on with my 106b. I've taken it apart a few times to clean the start button. If the soldering is not too bad I would like to replace mine too.

Works!!!! It was a fun little project all I needed was confidence in myself and I got a free charger that someone was going to throw away

Ok so these are the buttons I bought, the 5mm is the height of the switch button and the I charger must use like 20mm so I just cut the post down and glued the old post to the new switch... Works perfect. You do have to be quick with the heat and carefully bend the tabs to line up but if I can do it anyone can. I used a cheap 60w iron to do it.

Hmmm.... my start button is a little finicky as well. I may be trying this very soon. Thanks for being a pioneer!
