Thunder RC carpet oval

I am not sure, as most of our 13.5 runners are at the snowbirds race.
Truck will be the largest class 25+
Check back in a couple weeks as we will be back running more cars, we have the tour racing coming at the end of Feb.

Do you guys have a list of what can be raced on the oval or is it just what cars your buddy's have??
#21

they have been having decent turnout of tour truck pan car class and 17.5 tour open pan cars some interest in 13.5 open pan cars and a legends class don't know details on legends have to get that info from someone else
#22

As Tas says, lots of trucks 25+ trucks, 7-8 tour 17.5 car open, 13.5 is starting to grow. About 10 legends 6 second break out anything goes in legends.
Friday night.... Hope to see ya

Ummmmm no! I'm never coming back to that track. No one talks to you unless you are in there "click". And when you do finally talk to someone they look down on you. If this is how the RC community is here in Nashville I want nothing to do with it!

Im not sure what happen on your visit, but let me know the next time you come, and Ill meet you at the door...maybe get you to turn left and right

I hope you decide to come on back down some time and if I'm at the track feel free to track me down and I'd be more than happy to help ya break the ice, just look for the truck with neon pink! lol

Rarelyseen,
Sorry that you had a bad experience, I can tell you that we all try to help each other. Not sure what happened or not, but give us another shot, your welcome to PM me or Robert on what happened and I am sure we can work it out. We hope you come back, the group of guys are all pretty cool and always willing to help new racers.

Only person i know left mad last night, was because they were told they could not run off-road vehicles on the carpet track, that is the rule at thunder for many reasons. Now I talked to someone really brief when they walked into the door, hope he didnt take that as being rude.

I,m sorry ,I wouldn,t let you run your slash 4x4 on the carpet track. You didn,t even have a body on it. Don,t know if you didn,t understand what we were talking about on here or what.Every one of those people ,your talkin about, has put money, time. and even a little blood, into the carpet track. So don,t get offended when they say no,and slam the door, and throw mud all over peoples cars on the way out.

uhhhmmm, im havin a hard time believing someone would even want to put a 4whl SCT on a perfectly manicured carpet racing surface intended for carpet cars( exp when there is a purpose built offroad track less than ten feet away from where they are) even harder to believe is that someone even has an rctech user name and doesent get why that is not acceptable. excuse me for my ignorance.

I've never had that happen at Thunder and I don't get along with anyone. This is one of the best tracks in the country with world class drivers that always help. Perhaps you were at a different track???
